The Beautiful Estonian Town with a Concentration Camp | Klooga

Klooga is home to little more than 1200 people, two beautiful lakes and a former Nazi concentration camp where more than 2000 Jews, Estonian political prisoners and Soviet POWs were killed between 1943 and 1944. Nothing remains of the camp today except for information posts and a memorial constructed in the 1990s. This beautiful site lies only 40 minutes west of Tallinn but hides a sad past.
