Brother Malik Rahim is the realest! Malik is the founder of Common Ground Collective in NOLA right after Hurricane Katrina. I had the honor of working with him for 5 years.

Edit: Honored to be the 1st comment btw lol 😊

I was in NOLA when katrina made landfall, as a pretty experienced meteorologist and storm chaser. It was a beast, but that storm was no more or less than the one that wiped out Galveston in 1903.

Right combination of wind direction from the backside of the track (east of the lake) pushed the lake back into the canals, which caused the levy failure. They're not made for that. Water goes one way...to the lake.

Thereafter they installed gates where the canals drain into the lake, which solved the problem....and what engineers had recommended years ago, but of course the hopelessly corrupt levy boards never acted on.

This is why the prison industrial complex must go green as soon as possible.
All new and existing facilities must be built or retrofit with environmentally sustainable materials.
Any and all power, water, and heating must be sourced through renewable resources only.
No exceptions whatsoever.
All materials entering said facilities must be made from recycled materials and 100% biodegradable.
All food served to inmates must be healthy sustainable vegan meals.
No more commissary consisting of suger and sodium filled garbage.
Any and all literature or video material to prisoners will be exclusively geared towards environmental awareness and indoctrination.
Remember people...

There is NO planet b.
