Glühwein is not a red wine. I am from the Netherlands and we drink this also like the Germans. In Winter time. Christmas, cold, ice, snow, ice skating, skiing and then.... Warm Glühwein in English, Mulled Wine. It needs to be warm. It stands for Family time, coziness.
