My Friend and I were discussing Comedy of the past the other day, and acts that were so poor and unfunny it was amazing that they ever got long running shows on TV - Little & Large, Canon & Ball, Russ Abbot etc.
We both concured that nowadays it would be impossible for comedians with such weak material to get a long run on TV.
I had totally forgot about Russell Howard.
