I saw the video where you put the boots on. Crazy it got stuck!

Maybe it would help if you had the shoemaker create a second, maybe invisible zipper on the other side of the boot.

I think adding a zipper to the boot will make it easier to put on in the future. Plus they had to cut the boot off anyways so you might as well. 😅

They should be able to add a zipper to the side to help. Like this can be used so you can quickly switch them if you want. It maybe even be possible to hide the zipper so no one sees it.

If you buy another boot or really any custom shoe. You can simply inform them about your leg and maybe they can modify things to better suit you.

I saw the video where you put it on and thought "this is a lot of work to put on... how will it come off later?", but I thought it would be okay because you put it on. But seeing it now, I laughed hahaha. I confess that when I heard that it got stuck I thought "just cut it off", I felt sorry for the boot, but my brain that has cut pieces of leather before can't think of anything else lol. The prosthesis sock got ruined, but did that really ruin the boot? When you buy tight boots, buy a size larger for the prosthesis, Alex. These boots tend to be difficult to put on and take off, even if they are your size, so buy one that is 1 or 2 sizes larger (you can also increase the size of the boot with a hair dryer, heat the boot and fill it with socks, as much as will fit; you can also do this using ice expansion. Take a plastic bag the same size as your boot, fill it with water until it is 1/3 full, close it without leaving any air and put it inside the boot, then put it in the freezer and wait a few hours; there are other ways, but they either take longer or it would be difficult to do with the prosthesis). I used the first option and it worked very well. I did it twice and I feel like it increased 2 sizes, it is a 34 and I wear a 36.

Ankle movement make it possible to get out of tight shoes. I see why you couldn’t get it out now. Maybe you can get zippers put in the boots

While i was watching it be put on, my texas blood was telling me it wasnt getting off easy 🤣 figured youd have a plan for it though. Sorry your foot got scuffed up though

Man boots suck with prosthetics. Wish I could wear them bit iI aint found a pair that works. For work boots I did find a pair of ariat lace up that worked they are heavy on the swing though.

So.. I have a thing for a guy who has a prosthetic leg (he's off limits due to him being level 5 management and me being a level 1 employee). Ever since I started to talk about him at home, I've gotten so much content regarding people with different prosthetics. 😅 I don't hate the content. I just don't like Google spying on me.

One of the great things about being an amputee. You can’t hurt your foot if you don’t have one. That really would have hurt if it was a real foot.
