Ah yes, the character everyone else hated but I was really hyped to see get announced. I don't think I'll ever forget the day, and the internet's reaction to it also.

Also fun fact, the Dimitri alt also changes the color of the knifes hilt to resemble the knife Dimitri gave Edelgard when they were kids.

Honestly, they have some of the strongest and most clear costume references in the entire game. Not a single one is a vague stretch nor entirely made up. Not many other fighters are like that.

I feel like the to distinct the 7th and 8th even further, their colour scheme should be a reference to the 'enlightened one' class.

As a Byleth main I’m obliged to say that the Byleth hate is undeserved (though I will say that after like 4 years of maining this guy I still haven’t decided which costume I like best)

Ive always found it weird that Pyra had her thighs censored but Byleth's Sothis costume has that area exposed. They both wear shorts but unlike Mythra Pyra's changes dont work as well visually imo
