Terraria 1.4.3 x Don't Starve Together - New Deerclops Boss [Master Mode, No Damage]

Deerclops is now in Terraria. He looks great from the side perspective and his fight is pretty cool. Even though I kinda hate it, because his shadow hands attack often spawns right next to you and it's basically a guaranteed hit. I wasted too many tries, getting near the end of the fight just for a shadow hand to spawn right up my ass.

You have to stay close to him, as he becomes invincible when you run away too far. He also has one additional attack which he didn't use in the video - if you stay above him, he will spawn multiple shadow hands around you.

I'm playing on a special THE CONSTANT seed which adds hunger and makes you die in a total darkness. The lighting is slightly different, making Terraria look a little bit more like Don't Starve.

By the way…. There’s a secret Maxwell hiding somewhere in this video. Can you find him?

i love how in the description of this video it says "If only I had my stack of gunpowder." and in the DST one it says "If only I had my bow and Jester Arrows." on the description, it's a reference to the weapons he used to beat Deerclops and EoC in his no-damage videos, Gunpowder for Deerclops (also Tentacle Spike, Blow Darts and Tooth Traps but we don't talk about these guys) and a bow with Jester Arrows for Eye of Cthulhu

Seriously, i love the deerclops fight, it's a lot of fun and I also like the invincibility thing, it may suck for summoners, but i am a melee boi so that's just dope, cause now those damn mages and ranger can experience this close quarters combat thing
The visuals of the Constant seed and radio thing are also just so great. I'm playing as master ranger cause it's the last master mode class i haven't done yet and it makes it feel like i am in a western movie
Haven't had time to experience the other stuff in the update cause i was early hardmode when the update dropped, but i can't wait to see what the new stuff has to offer (Also Chester best boi)
