My mom actually fell in love with this seasoning, she was putting it on bread and eating it, it was that good lol. Plus we sprinkled it on some french fries and they were pretty awesome as well. For the amount you would put in a pound of ground beef or turkey, I would use anywhere from 1 1/2 teaspoons to up to 3 teaspoons. It really all depends on how much you want from the spice flavors. Just keep in mind there is cayenne pepper in there, so adjust to your taste buds. Thanks You 4 sharing Vera

Oh, thank you so much for this Taco seasoning mix recipe! I can't use the commercially made stuff, it makes my husband sick. How much would you add to a pound of ground beef/turkey? Do you have one for Fajita's too? Thank you again for this recipe! I can't wait to try it! ♥ :)

Goes really well with burgers. I was wondering, how can I use this on chicken and get the flavors to penetrate inside the meat? When I do spice rubs, the flavor is only superficial and the meat ends up being particularly bland..

You are welcome! It depends how much flavor or spicy you want your meal to be. For one kilogram which is roughly 2, 2 pounds I would use taco seasoning anywhere from 3 teaspoon to 5 or 6 teaspoon of seasoning. Enjoy!

With the Taco Seasoning, you can actually season or Rub the meat with the spices and cover it with plastic wrap, then place in the refrigerator for several hours, even overnight it. The longer you keep the meat seasoned in whatever rub you use the more the meat will have the flavors of the rub. You can also make a paste by adding a little water to it.
