Alot of people are not seeing the point here. Rules are rules and what ever the ramifications for this behavior is it should be applied to him as well. His status as a pro-gamer does not make him an exception regardless if it happens to everyone.

You know if this were any other player that wasn't well-known or part of the pro scene, most of the people defending him probably wouldn't be. Just because somebody is popular it doesn't mean that the rules don't apply to them. Regardless of your excuse, there's a standard that's placed on professionals that needs to be upheld. Rules are pretty black and white. Being drunk doesn't excuse you from doing stupid things.
