Universal Audio LUNA - How to Use Send FX

Universal Audio have just released LUNA their fantastic audio workstation software. In this video, we look at how to use send effects. The Studio Rats are core band members Paul Drew on guitar/production/mixing, drummer James Ivey and Dan Hawkins on bass. They collaborate with singers and musicians to produce radio-ready songs.

hey there? Do you know how to put effects only on a highlighted part of a track, like putting a low pass filter on the very begging of the song only on the tracks you highlight? pro tools has this option but i cant figure it out in luna

And it does not work with Instrument track.. Whatever track (BUS) I select for an Output -- nothing changes. Whatever track (BUS) I choose for send -- nothing happens... I think It is about 5 years from now to come back to LUNA and check if it is able to work as a normal DAW.

Ohhh it’s just like Ableton live has it. It’s just Ableton automatically has this bus send set up already the moment you open Ableton live

What if I don't want to buy the NEVE CONSOLE ? I found I have to pay 299$ to use my bus send, super disappointing

What if you want to use hardware units on a mix? I can easily do it with the I/o plugin in Logic but can’t figure it out for Luna.

Why copy the audio to the bus? I just send it from the audio to the bus, without copying.

This is Why I hate Luna and Am Going back to Logic, Protools and Studio One... Too many Time Wasting Clicking and Lack of Right Mouse Button menus. Thanks for the Video Though.

Could we just get a blend instead of make one track, make a bus, send from one to the other and then you can use an effect ! Poor Design !
