NATO Summit: China slams alliance's 'Strategic Concept', calls it a 'futile warning'

Beijing has slammed NATO over what it calls a "completely futile" warning on China. The Chinese foreign ministry says the alliance disregards facts and smears Beijing's foreign policy. NATO's new "Strategic Concept" accuses China of using coercive policies that challenge the alliance's interests, security and values. It also expressed concern about Beijing expanding its global influence in key technological sectors, while remaining opaque about its intentions.

G7 meeting looks like the kid's table laughing, giggling and being silly over pictures of Putin horseback riding bare back . talking about looking more manly, showing their pectorals and doing the same . I am ashamed of Prime Minister Trudeau . The adults in the room were the G8 (Brazil, China 'India, Russia and South Africa talking seriously about inflation, global recession and starvation) .

NATO has recently described other countries as a threat. But in reality, it is NATO that is creating the problem of conflict in many different regions of the world, " According to CFR, 27 conflicts include those involving South Sudan, Yemen, Libya, Syria., Afghanistan, Iraq and now in Ukraine

They were poking a Russian bear in Ukraine.
Now they're poking a Chinese dragon in Taiwan.
This won't end well.

We do not wish to take sides . We have to always be very careful with each and every word we put across in public. “Usual rhetoric “ of chinas foreign spokesman jarrs. Let’s not include emotional and biase words in our speech in the media. Keep a straight report. We would be better respected by and by

Stern words but all actions say otherwise, from dumping bonds denominated in dollars to military investments to the support of Russia in this senseless war. Lets hope actually seeing this war develop dissuades China from invading Taiwan.

Simple key question, end of the day, if WW3 breaks out, will Singapore side with the Anglo sphere or mainland China? Cause I'm not currently getting the feeling that 'Singlish' is geopolitically realistic :-/

Back in the 1950s during the Korean War, China fought a bloody war against US-led UN force to a stalemate. Consider back then China had no air force, poorly-supplied army and no nuclear deterrent and they were up against the US army led by experienced WW2 commanders, armed with WW2 surplus with total mastery of land, sea & air and joined by over 20 UN nations.

If the US-led UN could not win a war 70 years ago against a poor & backward China, why do you think a US-led NATO could win today against a vastly more powerful, richer & influential China in a war on China's doorstep ??

Japan's economy has been struggling in the past 30 years. The country is back to pre-WWII dire situation. Will Japan do anything stupid with daddy America when the situation got even worst? It's game over if Japan stops printing YEN; it's also game over if Japan raises the interest rate.
