I really hope you put together a full programming course one day. I know it is a crowded space with a lot of really good content, but you have a great teaching style!

Great video! I teach CS to young students and have them tackling some of these puzzles (esp. the early ones). Definitely going to tell them to watch this video.

I've also put together a few "strategy guides" which are designed to walk through a general approach rather than just showing a solution. Today we tackled Day 1 and 2 in class. It was a blast!

I actually found advent of code not so fun, cause how much text I have to read, to just get a sense of what problem they want me to solve. So instead of coding, I was more like "Did I understand the question?", so I give it a 2 out of 10 cause I probably have some adhd reading text :) Never felt the same with codewars anyway.

i was never able and will never be able to deal with algorithms. why do people who can think it's easy?
i'm on day one and i have no idea what to do with the numbers. i ain't parsing shit today!
