Some people would call this racist. Not only is symmetry a valid reason, the fat Albert situation is literally what Hollywood has been begging for. Black main character, have the person who closely resembles the character play it.

Moving from Iowa to Atlanta as a teen was enlightening. The small Catholic middle school had just enrolled the 3rd (IIRC) black family. Felt bad for them at the time. They stuck out and got some stares they didn't deserve. Then we moved to ATL and... It was basically an even ratio of the whites, blacks, and browns... Everyone was the same to us kids, except the white track guys learned that black guys tan too... 😅 Kids are dumb.

Then I moved to College Park for... college... and *I* stuck out like the sun. I'll never have a nickname as cool as "Snowman" ever again. 😢 By that time I was old enough to chuckle at all the glances I got in my neighborhood.
