Who is the real you?
The “Tasogare Hotel” never sees afternoon, nor does it see night, but rather exists in a state of twilight.
This hotel serves as a place that allows souls who have not yet decided if they are meant to pass on to the afterlife, or remain in the world of the living, to rest their wings. One day a girl named Neko Tsukahara, comes across this “Tasogare Hotel” with no memory of who she is or how she came to be there.
An employee leads the way and shows Neko to her room, explaining, “In these rooms, there should be items that are related to our guests’ memories. These items can also serve as clues to help our guests remember who they were before they arrived here.” As Neko searches for a way to return to this world and remember who she was, a certain incident confronts her...

Hi there! If you just finished watching the anime and wanted something similar, here some of my recommendation:
* Death Parade: No doubt these two are compared the most when it comes to "heaven or hell" mentality. Both of the shows are about the characters' past actions that lead them to this predicament. A really good classic.
* Angel Beats: Shares the same concept "a world that is between worlds", and characters who can't move on beyond their regrets.
* Erased: Does not set in a different world but the same world, just in the past. The main character tries to solve a mystery involving past kidnaps and murders.

I was watching this by chance and then I realized why this anime was familiar to my mind, I played the visual novel version of the game first before starting this anime series. It has been years since I've played the game and this anime brought back those funny stomach aching memories on the characters itself.

I highly recommend playing the game yourself and it's available on play store too!

It's a very fun anime to watch. Every episode I get more and more attached to the plot as it changes over time.
There's a lot of very interesting character analysis and subtle clues given in each episode to what goes on and why.
