Husband of bride killed on wedding night joins paddle-out in her honor

The Folly Beach community came together on Saturday to honor the life of Samantha (Miller) Hutchinson, a bride who was fatally hit by a drunk driver just hours after her wedding last month.

Surfers paddled out to sea and placed flowers along the shore of Folly Beach.

Her husband Aric Hutchinson said while he is doing okay, it has been amazing to see the love for Samantha pouring in from the community.

I feel so sad families have had to endure Death of their daughter, hey very recent bride and the emotions of the groom. Because I purely selfish and a part of the woman who is drunk and hit the back oh, that slow speed vehicle obviously the woman will be convicted She chose to drink and drive
