I love the revolutionary designing for this vehicle. Truely a car ahead of it's time. It shocked the motoring world at the New York Autoshow in 2005

It appears all cars have the wide-opening doors feature. Why do you keep mentioning it?

This car looks like a little bit Renault Super 5 and Fiat Uno.
Nice city car of your country and nice review.

Looks like they ended production in 2008, is there a similar Russian replacement car, (small engine and body) ?

MegaRetr, This car is a design that Daihatsu used many years ago. They called it a Mira. Thanks for your video, love watching and learning about the old Eastern Bloc vehicles.

that’s crazy how they ended oka production in 2008. this is an 05’ so this one was probably built in azerbaijan since they started the manufacturing around 2003-2004 to 2008

Has it got a half lada engine? I think it looks like as a Dacia Lăstun, but I think it's better.☺

The OKA really looks like what a West European hatchback would look like.

Who put a trailer hitch on this car is the most ambitious person in the world.

Interesting to see in detail such a great example! I believe many of these were built as transport for disabled veterans as well as being a cheap city car. The electric version is supposed to have a range of 100km - I guess it doesn’t need a very strong motor given the standard version is powered by a 2 cylinder motor cycle engine!

That car is very light. My son who is 11 years old and his friend, managed to flip an abandoned Oka that was near our house, I really wonder what they weight?

Interesting and nice test dude congrulations.
AND ALSO SUGGESTİON;YOU SHOULD ADD A PART OF DRIVING IN EVERY TEST ABOUT 3-4 MINUTE I THINK.

130 kph for a Inline 2 is not to bad. Gets you from a to be. But a carby in 2005 wow.
Well it's basic and gets the job done. Looks like a pain to drive but lol. But 5/10

I remember seeing this car at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2005. It wasn't on the same floor with all the new cars. Instead it was down in the basement of the convention center where all the car accessories where located.
I remember the interior smelled awful. Think of the strong smell of nauseous gas emitted when you buy a cheap chinese made plastic product.
