Kumail Nanjiani is DCU's Booster Gold CONFIRMED

Booster Gold (Michael Jon "M.J." Carter) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Dan Jurgens, the character first appeared in Booster Gold #1 (February 1986) and has been a member of the Justice League.

He is initially depicted as a glory-seeking showboat from the future, staging high-publicity heroics through his knowledge of historical events and futuristic technology. Carter develops over the course of his publication history and through personal tragedies to become a hero weighed down by his reputation.

The character has been portrayed in live action television by Eric Martsolf in Smallville and by Donald Faison in the seventh season of the Arrowverse series Legends of Tomorrow. The character will appear in an upcoming self-titled television series on Max, set in the DC Universe (DCU) media franchise.

Immediately could picture him as Booster as soon as the rumor popped up the other week.
He can nail Boosters personality, his character in Eternals had a similar cocky celebrity swagger and he sold it really well.

I don’t think there’s no point in arguing in this anymore. I’m hoping James Gunn will bring Aqualad (Jackson Hyde) to the DCU since his show was cancelled and since he’s my most favourite Aqualad.

So Kumail's Booster Gold will appear in the Blue Beetle animated show or Peacemaker Season 2 prior to his live action debut? I'm not sold on him as the character yet, we'll see if he can deliver the comedy the character is known for.

Booster gold is white. Reed Richards is white, Jade is black, sektor and cyrax are male and minorities.
We are always constantly fighting over this issue of race bending.
I feel kumail nanjiani is the kind of actor the industry likes but not the public similar to Josh gad or akwafina.

I'm not a fan of Booster Gold but I think Kumail Nanjiani will be great. People are just mad because they want a white blonde actor for Booster Gold. Instead we are getting pakistani-american man.
