I remember watching this almost 10 years ago. Very outdated by today's standard, but, shows all the basics and essentials in how things work. :)

I remembered the last time I access on your video was back in 2011, on which I used the 2009 version of ur vid.
I'm so amazed that I can do login and register, and upload pictures already! I love PHP~ I was 14 back then, and I don't listen on my computer teacher because they're just teaching HTML. I merely listen on your tutorials more.

But I stopped doing this after months at that time.

When I go in college, asking me about which prog language I know, I said "PHP" and they were shocked.  I'm still happy that I followed your tutorials. It's so helpful!
Now I come back to learn (refresh) again, I hope that I can learn again from you!

What I just wanted to say also is that, no matter what your age is you can still learn these things. I was 3rd year highschool back then, with only HTML, CSS knowledge. Javascript isn't much, but I was just curious how facebook retrieves our info whenever we login, and I saw their "login.php" on their URL, so I tried it.
So if you're curious, and even if you don't know these things (cause there were terms that I didn't understand before), in the future, you'll know it. I'm so proud that I knew this one because on phpacademy's tutorials! Really thank you!

Done and dusted i followed your videos and now i`ve made the source in my web server . Now i will move to OOP Login/Register System . This is really fun

Hi, Alex! I also have a sugestion. When you have the time, could you create a series about the Filesystem extension of PHP? How to create, delete, read, and display the contents of a directory simple and recursively, copy files and entire structure of directories, delete them, send them to a virtual recycle bin. You know, like a File Manager System. Thank you and good luck on future projects!

depends on if your using wamp server for a localhost, username maybe root, password maybe blank, so do not put a password just leave blank in your connection.php page (or whatever page you setup your database on) or for web hosting, if you need a new pass for that just create new user and delete admin user, reflect this on database.php page

Yes, why not mysqli? This is recommended for PHP 5+ at the very least!
