It’s good to know an old lady can accidentally cause this much damage. I’d hate to see what a little planning and coordination could do.

Four days ago would've been the smart time to shut the gas off, & if you can't do that till the fire's out, a simple surprisingly-small controlled-explosion can separate combusting-flame from the constantly spewing fuel. Its been a principal of extinguishing industrial-scale oil-well-fires since the Gulf-War US-Desert-Shield.
