My Grandma once had a Dog that she got from another woman who lived alone in the woods.
When she got the Dog she came to find out that the Old women actually trained the Dog into a Disiplined Guard Dog, She said; “Buddy He’d come into the house first he’d check every room and every corner, and than he’d sit at the front door and Guard it.” (Obviously not word for word bc it’s been about a month since she told me)

Well One day there was a group of Jehova witnesses, My Grandma has a Gate, back then luckily for them it had no holes for that Dog to get through, but the Dog came outside and barked at them, as My Grandma watched as the men shocked in fear “perhaps Afraid He might jump the fence.” About 4 of em started Hauling ass to get back to their car.

She said the Dog was Very Protective and didn’t like men. The Dog would growl at any man that came close. But My Grandma eventually got the Dog to allow my Grandfather and Dad to be in the presence of the Dog.

She said “Buddy He was a good Dog. Very protective; but a Good Dog.”

Unfortunately the Dog died before I was Born.
