Meet Songfinch Artist: Allison Altschiller

Hi, I’m Allison! I was born in New York and am now based in Nashville, TN.
I love coupling honest stories with catchy, ethereal melodies. I am super inspired by storytellers and love putting myself in other people’s shoes. Back when I was in college, I would actually gift songs to my peers upon their graduation. One of these songs was called “Colorado” and went on to accumulate 400,000 streams. Having this happen at the beginning of my career really motivated me and now I love being able to write in that exact same style for you!
Recently, I was named runner up in Tucson Folk Festival’s songwriting competition and won the Indie Summer Song Award for my song, “We Can Still Sing”. My catalog has accumulated over 3 million streams worldwide. And though the melodies may hook you in, I hope the message of my music will keep you coming back for more. I cannot wait to write your song!
