- Productivity is NOT a measure of how hard people work.
- "No one works as hard as Americans" and "we are outworking anyone on planet earth" is wrong and not warranted.
- Working more hours does not mean someone is more productive.
The measure neglects multiple different factors that play a role.

America is primarily rich because of the business environment and innovation, not because of "outworking everyone else".

That was a weird tangent about US putting in nearly most work hours, considering it is the 39th country in this ranking. And being high on the list is not a flattering statement.

Switzerland, Ireland and Luxemburg aren't Nordic countries. Also, the worker productivity is heavily influenced by technology that is available to the workers. What that means is that people in poorer countries may work a lot harder then Americans but be less productive because of the lack of tools!

Part of the greatness of a leader is how well they leave the country and their party in good shape. Biden is successful. Knowing when to quit is a sign of greatness!

All the US worker productivity and natural resource wealth goes to rich people but in those Nordic countries the natural resource wealth and productivity is more equitably distributed to its people. You "outwork" everyone else on planet earth and half the country has third world level infrastructure, education and no healthcare. Sad.

"Hours Worked" per worker is a poor metric to measure productivity by. I don't want to live in a country where workers have to work 60 or 80 hours a week to just get by.

I come from Denmark and I can say we work less, but smarter. We have a very high degree of automation. We also excel in many fields. The fact that Americans have to have two or tree jobs to survive is just insane. Here we have a strong labor union, so even people without an education get an okay wage. The American are working them selves to death, for only the rich to get richer. The US should learn from other countries, they are not as great as they think.

My home country Switzerland is not subsidized by oil or banks, etc., but, although small, leads the world in terms of innovation (patents) and productivity. I am very proud of this and it is mostly due to an excellent education system.
