I guess Nickel Plate #759 needs my help to return it to steam, Union Pacific #3985 does too, so does Norfolk & Western #1218 and some other steam locomotives mentioned in this video.

July 2024 is coming to an end and there are epic news: multiple festival events, Steamtown Ice Cream Express, N&W #1218 is getting cosmetic restoration, B&O #98 gets its B&O paint job back at TVRM and more epic news. Wow

I’m not sure if you are aware of this but I learned that the Conway Scenic Railroad has acquired the Flying Yankee train.

I literally saw CSX 1877 come through the CSX bowline on train M650 just the other day. I didn't get a heads up about it so what initially seemed like it would be a impromptu random catch ended up being a great surprise! It was it's first run as a heritage unit. Side note, the B&O heritage unit also came through here on it's debut run last year. I posted the video I got of 1877 as a YouTube Short on my channel if anyone is interested in seeing it.
