Tutorial was well explained and easy to do but I suggest one small change. In your success parameter show a message like your data was submitted successfully so that the end user knows something has happened.

In the above example, actually the jquery codes are not working. Even if you comment out all the jquery codes the pages still refreshes in the same way.
