Ukraine’s 3rd Assault Brigade attack enemy troops in fierce gun battle near Andriivka

Ukraine’s 3rd Assault Brigade cleared Russian troops from Andriivka. Kyiv’s forces captured the town, south of Bakhmut, in recent days. But the Russians are trying to seize it back. This battle happened on routes approaching the town. Video shows Ukrainians moving in on foot and throwing grenades. A fierce gun battle then breaks out with Putin’s men. Mortar shells explode as the Ukrainian troops dive for cover. Fortunately they emerge from the firefight unscathed. Meanwhile the Russians were forced to retreat. Andriivka is a small but strategically important town near Bakhmut.
It occupies high ground that overlooks the main city. That makes it an excellent place for artillery to shell the Russians.
