L302 Slap, tap and slide bass

A combination of Wooten style left hand slap, John Entwistle style "typewriter" tapping and Jaco Pastorius style percussive fretboard slide slaps.

Im playing a Sandberg California JM bass "Masterpiece editon" im trying out.

@TheElectricRob, It varies from bass to bass. I went into a bass shop thinking I'd walk out with a JM because I was after a musicman sound but ended up buying a JJ because it sounded, well, more musicmanish. In fact, the shop had two JJs on sale and they both sounded different (same woods, different colour AFAICT.) Basically, I'd stay away from online purchases. If you aren't buying online, then you can hear for yourself the difference in the shop :)

Are those roundwound strings? I'm a complete bass guitar noob. But i here no scratching when you play. My bass makes terrifying noises when I move my finger across the strings.

Cool Marlowe....very pricey to ship U.S? so does it have similar qualities of say fender jazz and sterling musicman? you have both, how does it compare? ya know u are never boring..thanks for that.
