In this video we look into all the characters and also the area that they reside in. We take look at their creepy facility, their back story and also how to run and hide from these creepy characters

The Rainbow Friends gameplay is composed of multiple chapters. As of August 13th, there has only been one official chapter.

Chapter 1 is about a class going on a trip to an amusement park called Odd World, but ultimately being kidnapped by a mysterious figure, taking them to a strange facility which each night they have to collect items while avoiding the monsters that appear throughout 5 nights. At the end of each night, any remaining players are returned to a safe room, where they are given a small amount of time to prepare themselves for the next night, you must collect blocks, food packs, fuses and batteries, and even trying to be careful to not wake up blue by stepping on the balloons.

I made my own Rainbow Friends concepts! I made my own map to go with them too.

Location:

The location is deep into what looks like a normal forest with plant life such as trees, mushrooms, vines etc. The players are able to climb vines into trees and hide in bushes to escape the monsters lurking in the 'normal' forest. The monsters are based on animals you may find in a forest. There's also an abandoned lab deep in the forest. I wonder why.

Characters:

Character 1: Dark Grey
This character has a somewhat rectangular wolf body shape with 4 stick thin legs, flat paws, and a cartoon like wolf tail with what looks like dark grey sticks poking out of it. Dark Greys neck is similar to it's stick like legs, and attached to the neck is a wolf snout with no top part of the head and a wide toothy grin. As it may be unable to see and hear, it's sense of smell is as incredible as a wolfs scent.

Backstory: Dark Grey used to be a normal 16 yo. boy named Mason. Mason had at least 4 friends. He wasn't scared of wolves, he didn't love them either. He hated them. He didn't have a reason, he just hated them for no reason at all. One day his class all went on a field trip to a laboratory that was oddly in the middle of a forest. They were supposed to stick with each other, but Mason and his friends snuck into a forbidden section of the laboratory. They walked in to see test tubes and all sorts of undescribable equipment.

Soon a scientist walked up to them and asked them if they would like a tour of this section. They agreed, and after a while they came to the last room, and the scientist opened the door and inside was a dark room. He gently pushed them in while closing the door behind him, locking the door, and turned on the lights.

Mason and his friends we're terrified when they saw 5 different cages, 10 different test tubes, and five different types of forest animals in test tubes 1 apart from each other. The test tubes with the animals in them seemed to be connected with with the empty test tube next to it. The scientist knocked them out. Mason woke up in a cage and the 4 cages next to him we're empty. But he couldn't see them. He scented the scientist standing in front of the cage. Wait, what? Mason was no longer himself. He had become a hideous wolf monster.

Mason/Dark Grey broke put of the cage attacking the scientist bursted through the door and out the door to the main area. He could sense fear coming from all around him. Someone screamed and the others started to scream as well, however others yelled "Monster!" or "Beast!" Startled, Dark Grey ran out of the exit running into the forest with no sense of direction. There he stayed wandering around until he finally realized that he now was stronger than he once was. Now he wanders the forest killing anything he can scent.

Way to hide from them: To hide from Dark Grey you can hide in the lake somewhere in the forest near spawn, or in bushes to disguise your scent. If you fail to do so when Dark Grey is near, you will be hit with a classic Rainbow Friends jumpscare.

Character 2: Dark Green
This character is a abnormally long legged alligator with a spike covered ball at the end of its tail, spikes and fins along it's back, and a missing eye. Dark Green is also very short sighted both in and out of water. It lurks in the depths of the lake.

Backstory: Dark Green used to be a 15yo boy named Jackson, and was also Mason(Dark Gray)s best friend. And like his friend, was turned into a monster.

Way to hide from them: Easy. Dark Green can't breath normal air and can only stay underwater. So basically just don't go in the lake. If you stay in the lake for too long or fail to outswim it, you will be hit with a classic Rainbow Friends jumpscare and be eaten alive because Dark Green can never find good enough food.

Sorry for being so late. I had a lot on my mind, and I would've done it sometime earlier this week, but I was in Disneyland the whole week except today.

Character 3: Cream.
This one is a cream colored leopard with eerily wide white eyes with a small black pupil and It has a normal muzzle except it doesn't have a mouth. It has a normal leopard tail except for the fact the tail gets thicker as it goes down. Cream is also mainly transparent and when it is it's wide eyes and spots are the only things that aren't transparent. Cream also has fur spikes going down it's body until it hits the tail and also has two extra limbs in between it's front and back legs. These extra limbs are like a mixture of human and leopard arms, or like we now call it "furry arms". Cream has the ability to stretch these limbs out to almost any length to their own will.

Backstory: Lily was what Cream was called when she was human. It's basically the same backstory as Mason and Jackson except Lily was the youngest of the group being 13 and a half years old.

Way to hide from them: Cream tends to climb up into trees and blend in with the green. When an unsuspecting player comes by below the tree they will stretch their extra limbs out and grab them. The only way to tell if a tree is inhabited by Cream is to listen to the slight rustling of the leaves or if you see leaves fall from a tree. If you fail to see if Cream is in a tree you will be hit with a classic Rainbow Friends jump scare.

Again, sorry for being late I had too many things on my mind. My cat died a week after my trip to Disneyland and I was really upset about it so I couldn't do it then, then a couple weeks after I got a new cat and was spending a lot of time with him. And I would've done it earlier this month but my birthday was on the 17th so again I'm sorry for being so late.

Character 4: Dark Orange
Dark Orange is similar in shape to a snake except for its extra eye, split jaw, odd forward pointing nose horn, lack of fangs, odd zigzag body shape, and underbelly spikes.

Backstory: Like the others this character used to be human except this one was Non-Binary. They called themselves Gray oddly enough. "Gray" was 15 1/2 at the time of the incident except he wasn't tricked by the scientist like the others. Gray was more cautious and decided not to go, the others called him a wussy because of it. No one knows how Dark Orange actually ended up the way he did, nor where he went during the incident. All anyone knows is that Gray saw Dark Grey or Mason as his monster version and ran out of fright. He ran far away and didn't stop. But for some reason, he didn't leave the forest, or at least failed to make it out...

Way to hide from them: There is only one way to hide from this fierce creature, run. Just run and don't stop, run as fast and as long as you can and eventually they will give up and leave you alone. For whatever reason Dark Orange picks two targets each night and after those two have either beaten them or have died no other person will be harmed until the next night. Dark Orange is only just slightly faster than a normal human and only a small percentage of people who encounter this beast live to tell the tale. If you stop for even a millisecond, you will be hit with a classic Rainbow Friends jumpscare.

I have an idea. Khaki, is a floating orb with smoke coming out of it. He was usually used in a rainbow friends episode "a spooky monster" for Halloween, Here is the thing, Khaki is very shy. You shouldn't look khaki straight in the eyes or he will run away, Like white, Khaki is a ghost so he can go through walls. But instead of needing the crystals, You need to collect pillows so khaki is comfortable. You need to find pillows. And red will try to find khaki and lead him to his comfort zone, The cutscene of khaki is going to be khaki waking up and his pillows are missing, Kaki panics and runs around, Red will say "Uh oh. Khaki's pillows are missing. You have to find his pillows while I find khaki" at the end cutscene khaki will go back to sleeping and red will say "Good job, [pants] That was tiring."

Edit on 1/22/2023: 1, I'm gonna change the color to Grey Cuz 2, I have another idea for khaki, Khaki has the same body as blue, But instead of drool and a crown, It has Cardboard sticking out of its mouth, and a box hat. The gameplay of New Khaki Is LITERALLY THE OPPOSITE OF BLUE When you hear any of blue's sounds, REVERSED, You need to get out of your box! cuz The New Khaki Doesn't eat players, He eats boxes.

I have a good idea for a custom character Lime He would be similar in appearance to green With long lanky arms and legs but he would be able to see And his special ability would be that he could basically Kind of like silver in a basically he could summon things like A giant mouth out of the ground to eat someone Also the Box would not work on him : Edit I did not expect I would get 14 likes

Next Rainbow friend: (for last If the series is finished)
Navy
Gender: male
Ability: pops out of every hole they make to capture the players.
Backstory: when red created navy, They where originally going to be the original blue rainbow friend but due to them being to dark to be blue, red renamed them to navy.
However, navy didn’t like their new name, they wanted to be blue, but when red created blue 2.0, navy went into a rage and took revenge on red,
But the only one to kill was blue, but the other rainbow friends tried to stop him, but he kept making holes and started popping out everywhere,
So navy is one of the dangerous rainbow friends out there, much more dangerous than silver, so red didn’t want to test his subjects for navy,
So red made a brave decision to make a completely different night, So red announces:
Hello test subjects, someone had let navy out of their cell, you need to be on high alert, because he’ll be placing holes everywhere, so be careful and good luck.
Objective: the players will not have to find anything at all, there will only be two rainbow friends in the facility, all they need to do is
Get blue safely to their cave, when blue and the players see navy, half of the players will have to distract navy while the other half will have to make blue follow them, once the players reach blue’s cave, blue is safe and no longer haunted by navy, then a cutscene plays.
Cutscene 1: shows navy trying to capture
Red. So that means we’re playing as red, so red must run back to the facility while the players take care of blue to keep them safe,
If red can’t keep up and let navy capture them, then he’ll be greeted with a jumpscare.
Once red returns to the facility a cutscene will play.
Cutscene 2: shows red surrounded by navy, then suddenly, pink shows up with the other rainbow friends altogether including purple,
started beating up navy to stop red from being killed, then red announces:
Good job test subjects, now navy is sent back to their sell, see you next time very soon, good night.
And that’s my last idea for the rainbow friends concept series if the series has ended.

Here is a rainbow friend character concept for you guys!

Name; grey
Gender: female

Grey was originally alongside blue green and orange. She was known as the fourth rainbow friend. She was the least popular character but she didn’t mind. Grey looked like a wolf, that is probably why the kids were scared of her. She had a large fluffy tail, a wolf like snout/nose and two large ears. All she wanted was some good friends, and she had them. Blue, orange and green. But then one day even her best friends seemed to shun her. Grey didn’t like this, it made her very upset. So one day, grey lashed out in rage but she was defeated by green blue and orange. They locked her in the cleaners cupboard. The rainbow friends were saved. When people asked where grey was, they said nothing. Grey was nothing. For many years grey was trapped. She was always banging in the door, crying, screaming and weeping. There would be a key somewhere… if they player took it and put it into the cleaners cupboard, grey would be free. She wasn’t very happy though. If you were not fast enough to escape her intense speed, you would be toast.

I have an idea for black, In every round black will grab the items that the dead players had and take them back to the theater in a run. he can also possess players when he runs into you. The danger of black is that when he is Possessing a dead body on the run he will slap the friends or players when he gets close dealing 10 dmg. The design is just a shadow the shape of a ghost. The big round head. fists, And a sidewards cap. Out of all the friends, black is the least dangerous.

Rainbow friends concept, dark brown.


Backstory:


dark brown was a top secret project and was a failed experiment. He was also the original security system, but soon he was scrapped because of black. The reason he was scrapped is that he can not move when being stared at.


Cutscene 1: hello subject's welcome back to the facility. Looks like dark brown broke through there containment. Make sure to look at it, it's way stronger then it looks.


What you need to find: you need to find 20 laser rays. If you look away from the items they teleport away?


Cutscene 2: dark brown is very mad now because of how your almost done. Make sure to watch your backs. The laser beam should be enough to knock it out.


Final cutscene: good job test subjects, your almost done. Sleep up test subjects tomorrow you'll need it.

My concept for white:

White and Green would be good friends because green is blind and my concept is white could be deaf unlike the other rainbow friends white would kill everyone even the rainbow friends except green. Their secret ability is to hide in pictures, players would think it’s just a picture but then white would jump out of the picture and kill the player, and then goes back into the picture waiting for more people to come. The thing you have to collect is to find Green, you have to get green on your good side green would go to white to calm him down.

I have 4 rainbow friends ocs to show you!

Indigo
Looks: Indigo is basically the brother of Blue. his body is similar to Blue but was taller, with fingers that can stretch, includic some accessories like a scar on the right side of his face, a upside down party hat that is glued to his head, Including some stitches on the left side of his mouth, and black eye shadow. His expression is calm and laid back for a monster. But at the 4th night, his expression will be different. The side of his mouth where it's stitched up is now in strings and it shows a large side of the mouth with sharp teeth. His eyes looked shocked or angry.

How he works:
He only attacks in the box if you are moving, if you move but stop when he is looking at you, He will get confused but he will move on anyway. He can get you in the holes with his fingers that can stretch to get the player, so the only safe place for you to not get caught is in the closet. He also gets tired so he lies on the floor to take a nap for 5 minutes. In the 3rd night, he will sleep for only 2 minutes because of a nightmare. And at the 4th night, you might hear screaming, and shrieking from far. Now he is not fooled by boxes, and he runs even faster than he is with blue.

His location:
His location is like a party room for any type of party. Birthday parties, dance parties and more! He also has a lounge for people who are introverted, not have the energy, to relax there

Iron(is Iron even a color):Iron is like Silver but Iron whole tire body structure is different from Silvers Iron's head is shaped like a pyramid their body is the Roblox man body their arms are like greens but shorter they have claws like black on Iron's back is a silver plate that is held on by wires if the plate is removed Iron will deactivate and never activate until the plate is put back on them
