In this episode I demonstrate how to make a chin curtain for the Icon Airform helmet! Unfortunately this awesome "super value" lid doesn't come with one or have one available to buy separately. Luckily, this mod has worked great for me! I hope it helps!

I had a old headband that I placed it on underneath the chin are of the helmet and then I cut off the excess, make sure to leave it a bit wider so you can stuff it inside. With a creditcard I inserted the extra material inside the helmet, in between the helmet itself and the exterior plastic and it worked. It reduces the noise . I definitly recommand this method for anyone who dose not have the budget for an expensive helmet . Also I think the rubber stuff around the visor dose not isolate good as well and thinking of using something like silicone to isolate it better as well .

Will receive my Airform in 3 days, gonna try a piece of thin plastic instead of cardboard, will let you know how that turns out. Thanks for the video, man!

Wonder how that has held up over time?

Did it fall out when you take your helmet off or put it on? Did it actually fit well...?
Loved the background music btw

Future thoughts in case that one fails with age or use. The part of the helmet you tuck material under detatches for replacement. Maybe with it off there are other ways of doing same thing.

But did it help with the wind noise?
Can you tell any difference from the sound when you record or feel less air?
