I found same problem, 75 c10. I decided to back half mine. Worked great.

I always trust my level and string for this and this is why. I have seen this, where the Transfer case side of the frame is taller across the web. I would use wood to make holding jigs back then. LOL. Good times.

Insert Average American Weight joke here.

I pray your more worried about those brackets and how they need some serious support added to them

No access to a GM frame book? Maybe it is supposed to be like that.

I think driver's side is always beefier because the steering gear bolts up to it

It depends on whether the difference was added to the bottom or the top. It it's on the top it shouldn't make any difference, unless the chasis sits directly on top of the frame. Then the difference is on the bottom.

My dude fantastic work! small gripe, those brackets need quite a bit more support if you want them to hold up.

Shame the square body Chevy‘s didn’t have straight rail square frames.

Your work looks good but I have to recommend longer support on the weld play to the bottom of the frame would be stronger and look better and also take the time to box in the frame wherever you put a support

The motor twists one way and the 120 pld Gass tank is on the same side, ,,,brace those gusseted for the rear end first Moore bracing, ,,or the tank will have a hole init when it breaks

Symmetry is a concept. Build it>>>>Send it

How are you determining that the distance from top of the rear axle to bottom of frame makes the frame level? How did you deal with frame twist and true parallel and square rails?

I swear I see a mouse run by the string by the bottom of the frame and then run off the left side of the screen behind the gloves!
