If you want to know what Abraham Lincoln's speaking voice sounded like just listen to actor Fred Gwynne in the movie My Cousin Vinny.

He is often depicted as having a deep voice but in reality was described as having a high pitched tenor. He also got rid of the right to have a trial before a judge.

Too many of these AI vids get it wrong. Daniel Day-Lewis did it right -- by many historical accounts, Lincoln had a thin, reedy, high-pitched voice incongruous with his stature. One Smithsonian archivist described his accent once as being a blend of Indiana Hoosier and Kentucky twang. Having been raised mainly in Indiana and studied law in an Illinois law firm, it stands to reason thus that Abraham Lincoln didn't sound as Kentuckian as many today believe.
