But that's usually a rare occasion.
No, a quick control guide that you'll learn from the tutorial anyways does not count as a manual.
Also, I'm discussing CURRENT-GEN consoles, (late PS4/Xbox - PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch). If it's older than these then it's not valid.
