Uniform motion in a straight line. Coordinate-time graph. Meeting condition.

Two bodies move along the X-axis. Their coordinates change according to the formulas
x_1=4+0.5t and x_2=8-1.5t .
Describe the movements. Plot the x_1 (t) and x_2 (t) graphs. At what point in time will the bodies meet? Find the coordinate of the meeting point.

For years I've been watching Physics lectures by all kinds of proffessors in both english and russian, including US college and university proffessors from MIT, Princeton, Caltech etc. I have never found a proffessor, who explains the material in such details and so elegantly guides the problem solutions. I often caught myself thinking - if Pavel Viktor gave lectures in english, they will be way more valuable than the US lectures not only for me, but also for the US students which also have to cope with their proffessors, erm... artistic approaches, and desire to keep the "public" at some sort of stupid suspense... And so now it begins. I couldn't be more happy! :) More health and power to you, Mr. Teacher!
