Just as you were blessed by Judy Ross I live in Sun City West and our community is blessed to have her live right here with us! She hosts a mixed media class every Friday afternoon and it is impossible to walk out of the class not having learned something about the world of art and creation. She is a phenomenal teacher and inspiration to all of us! And the best thing she did was bring Tim to all of us! Tim needs to know that he helped me through the awful 2 years of Covid with his weekly classes. Amazing talent! Thanks Judy for bringing Tim to the world of art!

Carol Duval is the most important crafting person in my life. She and Aleene (if the glue!) made crafting accessible to a lot of women and men. Yes. I remember the episodes with a very young Tim Holtz.

Wow, being 80 I remember it all, well, at least most of it. When you mentioned Gruenig, Weinberg, Duvall, the memories flooded in. And the booklets, how many of them did I own at one time. Thumbs up.

I wish I wouldn't have waited 3 months to watch this. It has been very good time spent and also very relateable. I graduated in 1976. My very first and olny stamps I would buy for years were Hero Arts. I remember Jennifer from CK. Now I am so thankful for falling into the Tim Holz world. It took me several years however know I look at it from a differnt pair of glasses. Thank you all so much for the things you do. I have been a hobby girl since I was 8yrs old. I would rather buy yarn than clothing and still need graft productes more than clothing. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN ❤

That's so funny about Tim steering away from accountancy b😮because that's what I did my whole life. Didn't take up creative art with card making until I retired 15 years ago. Never thought I would ever be interested in artistic anything. Fell in love with color and different mediums. I was hooked.

Thank you Jennifer, Aaron, and Tim for sharing more of the history of creatives, making, cardmaking, scrapbooking, paper crafting, etc. I am REALLY ENJOYING this series and hearing so many of your stories and experiences and positive philosophies and importance of connecting with others and sharing ideas, techniques, makes, etc.

I enjoyed this conversation so much! I’m appreciative of all the sharing. Jennifer taught me how to organize and so many things. I wouldn’t be a card maker without her inspiration. Tim, I’m so happy for you. The lives and connections with you and the makers, it’s brought so much joy. You have no idea how thankful we are that you left accounting and went for the job at Ben Franklin… you are amazing and I’m thankful for every moment you share with us.

Thanks for the replay of this live. It's so great to hear the 3 of you talk about "back in the day" history and then what's happening now. I'm focusing on developing myself as a fine artist, but I still love paper crafting (always will) and all kinds of mixed media. And I'm also proud that there are so many high quality American arts and crafts & art supply manufacturers that produce some of THE best products in the world! This year, in fact, I have made an extra effort to buy from American-based and American brands (or mostly American-made) as well as other much-loved international brands that I know I can trust who practice ethical trade & employment and who also make sure their products are consumer safe. We can always buy the cheap stuff or the illegally copied stuff...and we will save money, but there's a cost for doing so that is incalculable.

Thanks much for all you give to the creative crafting community and your ongoing support for innovation, positivity and inspiration.

I have to say that I started with Hero Arts stamps but did a deep dive when Jennifer demonstrated the various ways to use Distress Inks. I was hooked! I thank all 3 of you for my ability to enjoy this creative outlet for 30 plus years! Looking forward to new innovations always!
