Best Tim Cook impression I've ever seen lol

Upgraded to a refurbished iPhone 13 with a new battery and it literally feels and works like a brand new iPhone. Not missing out on much. No high refresh rate is a bit of a bummer but not a dealbreaker at all

Been using my 15 pro heavily since launch and i do plan to keep it for a couple years. By then i think the smaller bezels, under screen faceID, and better battery will make a compelling upgrade. But for now i am loving the 15 Pro's compactness. Best feel in the hand ever.

Drew, you are going to be happy. File transfer is solved. When you have the phone connected to your Mac and you send files via AirDrop it automatically sends it using the cable. This is on iOS 18.1

My wife, who never tries to conserve battery health, always seems to have a better number than mine. We sold our 11 pros in February after having them for 4 years, her health was 88% mine was 79% and I tired to help the battery health overall

Still using the 12 pro. Changed the battery (with apple) a few weeks ago. Runs like a dream!

The word tactile and tactical have very different meanings.

My 15 non pro get pretty hot as well. I wish it ran cooler, but it’s interesting to see that I’m in a similar spot to you. I’ve got 269 cycles (nice) and have 94% health

About the iPhone battery health. My 14PM I had 1 year, with 260 some cycles. I always manually charged it only to 80%, and never wirelessly. My battery health after 12 months was still 100% (but soon after dropped to 99%.). My current 15PM, has 224 cycles right now, and already down to 98% with the 80% charge limit set. So yes, there could be major differences in the batteries used, but the only difference from me is I use my 15PM in nightstand mode on a Mag safe charger through the night.

Man, lot of surprises in this video.
First, I thought Drew was downgrading infinitely; like he’s going subatomic. But no…….”nine months with the iPhone 15 Pro…”
Then….he caves to commenter pressure and gets a “real” job.
Ok………
Anyway, congrats Drew. Hope it works out for you. Hope you can maintain it, along with all your channels AND life without a lot of burnout/health issues.
As for me, on a 14 ProMax that just hit 88%; so yeah, getting the iPhone 16 Pro/Max. Just not sure which. Want the portability of the smaller pro, but love the size screen and feel of a ProMax in my hand. Not to mention better battery life. Really though, I’m ready for all the perks from the 15 (USB-C, U2, Action Button), although I’ll miss Lightning somewhat.

I’m still running the iPhone 12 Pro Max without too many issues. Just replaced the battery earlier this year so I’m at 95% health. I think I’m going to wait for the super cycle upgrade next year with the 17 series. I want to see what’s up with that rumored “slim” model

Ive recently bought an s24 ultra. Probably leaving the walled garden for a bit. Paired it up with a samsung laptop, tablet, watch and ear buds so Im kind of set for the change. We'll see how that goes.

I never noticed how hot it gets until I removed my case. It felt like I'm holding an oven 😃

I´m now in the beginning of the third year of use of my iPhone 13 Pro Max (alpine green, 256GB) and it still rocks the hell out of it. I know it's already like a three year old tech but the camera was too superb at that time, even the differences between the 15 and 13 are so minor. I bought it at the same day as the 14th series was announced because the price difference would have been 300-400€ (Germany). After I watched your video and heard about the problems of transfer speed on the 15 (which would be the only thing which bothers me+ Lightning Port) sometimes when having to share large files.

Currently housebound and recovering from major surgeries so I gave my iPhone 15 Pro to my spouse to replace his 13 Pro and sold the 13 Pro to get more money versus when the 16 line is released. The main reason for upgrading is we have a Polestar 2 that only works with wired Apple Carplay and having to switch the USB cables from lightning to USB-C was a pain (I know first world problems.) Rocking an iPhone 11 that we use for indoor camera duties until the 16's release date. Can't wait for the resolution boost and pro motion to bless my eyes again.

Got my 15 Pro Max in November and it’s already down to 91% battery health. Makes sense though as it served as a camera in the studio everyday and sometimes as an editing device with LumaFusion and as a normal phone.

16 pro will most likely have a 12GB ram and significantly better battery life along with faster charging. It will have better screen experience too. It is going to a very significant upgrade overall.

I don't know why you would regret going with the Pro. Just the clearly better screen and the ability to ditch the Lightning cable would alone justify the price premium to me. And if you're doing pro video, it's just a better, more versatile choice. My wife, who like yours is using a X, informed me a couple weeks ago that I would be upgrading to a 16 Pro so she could have my 13 Pro. I didn't argue.
