Hey mike I've been watching ur vids for a long time like when you first started but just got around to subscribe to you. But we used to live in bland county and my grandpa said he knew, and that this guy was all about huntin and survival stuff, and in the mountains. But here is something that you may not know the reason It just worked for him is that it was 00 steel wool is u try it with grade 1 steel wool it wont work here's why 00 is very fine and does not need a lot of heat to get going however grade 1 is quite a bit corser and needs far more heat to achieve ignition the same is true even with a 9v battery and in some cases it wouldn't even ignite so there is a little bit of good advice for the young guys n girls
