Han, I know the process is gradual, but was there a "lightbulb" moment in which you said to yourself, "Hey, I just understood everything I heard" or when you noticed that you weren't struggling to speak English?

I've been learning Swedish, Norwegian, and many other languages on DuoLingo, and have learned A LOT. I do really well on the app, often placing in the Top 3. But that sort of gives me a false sense of accomplishment, and I become disheartened when I watch Norwegian and Swedish movies and TV shows in which the characters are all speaking a mile a minute or mumbling words (some of my fellow Americans mumble and it's sometimes hard to understand them!)

Your English is excellent, but if I may offer a friendly tip: Don't do what a lot of my fellow Americans do and pronounce "didn't" as "dih-dint" or "couldn't" as "cud-dint." A lot of English speakers break up the word incorrectly. First say the word "did" and let it roll off on the "n't" (I guess that would be technically called a "glottal stop"). After all, it's short for "did" and "not." Breaking it up as a lot of my fellow Americans do as "dih-dint" doesn't make sense, as neither one of those syllables is a word. ("dint, " of course, is a word, but not in this context.)

It's good to share tips on how to improve language skills, but I wouldn't claim fluency...

Your videos are quite good but you're editing them to heavily. The language and body movements seem unnatural because you have stitched together each and every phrase. The advertisement was much better than the real part of the video. Maybe you can trust your monolog more and edit less?
