How To Cope With Bullying - Let Us Be Kind

This simple story illustrates the power of love and forgiveness in the face of bullying.

A bully in my class bullied me. One time he even hit me. It mad me sad, but I forgave him. When I was chosen to lead the class to the lunch room, I was asked to choose a friend to help me. I picked this boy because others never choose him. I wanted to make him feel good. He thanked me for choosing him. He began to be nice to me. It made me feel good too.

This happened to my littler sister the other day. I wanted to help, so we watched this video. She learned to be kind to him. And she became friends with the person that bullied her. Before we watched this video we said a prayer. That helped her a lot.

I had a personality clash with someone at work. We just rubbed each other wrong. I pulled the young man aside one day and expressed my thoughts on the inherent friction between us. I told him that I was going to give him the benefit of a doubt and I wanted him to do the same for me. He nodded and actually hugged me. We came to a trust.

This worked for me but it took me a year my bully was your typical hurting bully, he may have hurt me but I just stood there in a hugging position, I told him that I just wanted to be friends and I wouldn't fight back He bullied me everyday and everyday I was determined to make him stop bullying me in a good way. Finally after the longest time at the last month of school he stopped and gave up he knew I wasn't going to fight back and learned that he wasn't doing the right thing the next year when I came back to that school he never bullied anyone and he never has since

As a child, I was bullied a lot; however, when I became an adult I worked very objectively with kids like this and helped to guide them through the obstacle course.

I’m sorry, when I was bullied I kept it to myself for months before telling my parents and I never told my teacher until one day she caught the bullies in the act. Bullies don’t work like this, what you do is talk to someone else and not be like “Hey u bullied me but lets be friends”

man being able to do that is just amazing you must have a heart of gold you see when i got hit by a bully once i burst out at him with a flury of we didnt become friends but it stopped the bullying.
