I praise the Lord for you and the message the Lord has blessed you to share in this video. I was against Ellen G White until I read the books that the Lord blessed her to write. I fell more in love with Jesus after reading Steps to Christ and The Desire of Ages.Truly she is a prophet of the Lord. Her writings led me to read the Bible more and to have a closer relationship with our lovely Lord and Savior. I praise the Lord for blessing His dear end-time people ( a movement) with the Spirit of Prophecy, which is one of the distinguished sign of God's remnant people. God bless you and keep looking up!

WOW!!! What a timely video. Just a few hours ago, I was attacked verbally as an SDA. I was told I follow Ellen White.🙂 God is awesome, He provided an answer since it was persons traveling in my vehicle that said these things. I simply explained that we all generally expound on God's Word. EGWhite did the same. Preachers do it, and denominations do it. I explained that I believe EGW was inspired, but I have never prayed to her or asked anything in her name. Many are misguided about what we believe, may God's Truth be revealed as we face more accusations.🙏🏿🙂

When reading Revelation 19:10, consider these 10 questions:

10 insightful questions to consider when reading a Bible verse:

1. What is the context of this verse within its chapter and book?
2. What is the historical and cultural background of this verse?
3. What are the key words or phrases in this verse, and what do they mean?
4. How does this verse relate to other verses or passages in the Bible?
5. What is the intended message or lesson conveyed in this verse?
6. How does this verse reveal God's character, attributes, or plan?
7. Are there any promises, commands, warnings, or principles in this verse?
8. What does this verse teach about humanity, sin, salvation, or spiritual growth?
9. How can I apply the truth of this verse to my life or circumstances?
10. Does this verse point to Jesus Christ or the gospel message in any way?

Reflecting on these questions can help you gain deeper insights into the meaning and significance of individual Bible verses.

She never added anything. She always pointed toward the Bible. She checked all the boxes when it came to qualifying as a real prophetess.

Eisegesis

Eisegesis is the process of interpreting a text by reading one's own ideas, biases, or preconceptions into it, rather than drawing out the meaning that is inherent in the text itself. It involves imposing subjective interpretations onto the text, often resulting in misinterpretation or distortion of the original meaning. Here's a detailed explanation of what eisegesis entails, along with steps to recognize and avoid it:

1. **Starting with a Preconceived Idea**: The first step in eisegesis is approaching the text with a preconceived notion or agenda. This could be influenced by personal beliefs, cultural norms, or theological biases. For example, if someone believes that a particular biblical passage supports their political ideology, they may interpret the text through that lens, rather than letting the text speak for itself.

2. **Ignoring Context**: Eisegesis often involves disregarding the historical, cultural, and literary context of the text. Instead of considering the original audience, authorial intent, or linguistic nuances, the interpreter focuses solely on their own interpretation. For instance, someone may take a verse out of its narrative context to support their argument, without considering the broader storyline or literary genre.

3. **Selective Use of Evidence**: Eisegesis involves cherry-picking verses or passages that seem to align with the interpreter's preconceived ideas, while ignoring or downplaying contradictory evidence. This confirmation bias reinforces the interpreter's existing beliefs rather than challenging them. For example, someone might highlight verses about God's love and mercy while ignoring verses about God's justice and holiness, creating an imbalanced view of God's character.

4. **Twisting Scripture to Fit a Narrative**: In eisegesis, the interpreter manipulates the text to fit a predetermined narrative or agenda. This can involve stretching the meaning of words or phrases, taking metaphors or symbolic language literally, or attributing meanings that are not supported by the text. For instance, someone might interpret apocalyptic imagery in the Bible as predicting specific events in modern times, despite the original context being vastly different.

5. **Ignoring Scholarly Consensus**: Eisegesis often dismisses scholarly consensus or established principles of textual interpretation in favor of subjective interpretations. This can lead to fringe or unsupported interpretations that are not grounded in sound scholarship or historical understanding. For example, someone might reject the consensus view of biblical scholars regarding authorship or dating of certain texts in favor of their own speculative theories.

6. **Resistance to Correction**: Eisegetical interpretations are often resistant to correction or alternative viewpoints. Interpreters may dismiss or rationalize conflicting evidence, refuse to engage with opposing arguments, or dismiss scholarly criticism as biased or irrelevant. This closed-minded approach reinforces the interpreter's own biases and hinders genuine dialogue or intellectual growth.

By recognizing these characteristics of eisegesis, interpreters can strive to approach texts with humility, openness, and a commitment to understanding the original meaning within its historical and literary context. This involves engaging with scholarly research, considering alternative viewpoints, and allowing the text to challenge and shape one's own beliefs and assumptions.

Thank you this was made very clearly to me about EGW even though I didn't doubt her role as a prophetess.

Exegesis is the careful and systematic interpretation of a text, particularly a religious or literary one, to uncover its intended meaning based on historical, cultural, linguistic, and contextual analysis. It aims to understand what the text originally meant to its author and audience.

On the other hand, eisegesis is the process of interpreting a text by imposing one's own subjective ideas, biases, or preconceptions onto it, often distorting or misinterpreting the original meaning. It involves reading one's own meaning into the text rather than drawing out the meaning inherent in the text itself.

Logically presented brother. Also, "Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." Matthew 5:12 KJV

This was very good! Very well put together and so helpful to all of us who are needing to answer these accusations…for myself they come in my own house. So it helps to see it from this perspective so that I can calmly explain from a biblical perspective as you have. Thank you so much.

I have gained valuable insight on the Bible by reading Ellen White’s books. The Desire of Ages and Ministry of Healing were written like she was there listening to the conversations…because I feel that the Holy Spirit was telling her what was happening. I fall in love with Jesus even more when I read her books over and over again. She has so many wonderful books and I want to read them all. 😊❤😊
