I love Dark Souls 2 it’s my favourite of the trilogy which is sacrilegious I know but there’s just a different feel in the gameplay compared to the others. Plus having the health loss after death and the life gems just makes it feel like the little brother of Demons Souls which I love.

find lighter armor, dodge left out or right never in unless you've found one of very few bosses that dodging in can be used.

I just watched OneyPlays do this fight, and Cory beat it on his first try, while using the dagger after he didn't have any soul arrows left lol.

Love Darksouls 2 until I get to the shrine of amana. Then I hate it for a while. Then I love it again.

Best weapons in early game are duel wielded caestus powerstanced. You pummel anything to death.

It is a tough one first time through. That whole area is a difficult early game test. Especially if you aren't prepared for it. Pretty sure I still die occasionally to that area even in later NG+ cycles

Pero si esta sencillo ese jefe, simplemente puedes hacer que se quede en la columna, cuando haga su ataque de salto la columna va a impedir que llegue a ti y asi hasta que lo mates

Even better, in the Scholar of the First Sin edition, they moved a chest after this boss to a more visible spot.

They did not move the chests shadow for some reason.
