In this video we do a review of the all new Apple iPad Air 13 inch - this year, Apple dropped two models in this series: the 13" ipad air and the 11" ipad air. These are loaded with super powerful chips (M2 chip), and can undertake any task you throw at them. Now that there are 2 iPads, many people are confused about which one to choose. The 13-inch ipad Air is no doubt a game changer, but does that mean that you should go ahead and just purchase it? Maybe the 11-inch ipad air is more your speed. Either way, this iPad Air 13 inch is set to blow away many people, and by the end of the this video, you will have enough information for you to decide which to purchase.

The reason the 60 Hz is smooth is because it is an IPS LCD screen and not an OLED. OLED has instant response time which makes 60 HZ super horrible, like for example on my 13 pro 60HZ looks horrendous. On IPS LCD screens there is slight smoothing or built-in motion blur so it feels better. Its the same reason why people say Macbook Air displays are super good and buttery smooth like its a high refresh rate even though its 60Hz

Definitely agree with you. Apple has done something with the display, the 60hz seems more smooth compared to the 60hz display on iphone 15

Enjoyed your review very much; thanks. I sing in a choir and want to move away from paper sheet music. I do use my IPad Pro 13” for my digital sheet music but it’s way too heavy to use at choir practices /hold at a concert. The IPad Air 13 on the other hand is much lighter and would weigh about the same as my paper choir book…so I think I found my excuse for getting it 🎶😉

Its kinda good to see that 60hz of iPad Air is much smoother than iPad Mini and iPhone 15 (non pro) especially on gaming.. im starting to think that if iPad Air is secretly 90hz 😂 lol

Good review. I'm a artist and animator, I have a 10.5 inch pro. I was looking at the 13 inch air for the reason you said Bigger screen. I would of gotten the 11 inch pro Haveny decided yet

I mean I don't understand what's wrong with apple on one hand where other brands are providing 120 hrtz quarreling quad or 8 speakers with dolby surround 3 d sound imursive dynamic display apple are still stuck with 60 hrtz ?

Looking at buying this as a college student with the Magic Keyboard and pencil wouldn’t this still be better than Samsung in terms Of OS I haven’t used a iPad in like a decade so I’m not familiar with all the complaints

Did you do something with iPadOS? I bought a new Air 13" 6 days ago but mine not feels as smooth like yours. :) Don't get me wrong it's fine but in your video is more satisfying.

This is definitely a 90z panel. I've checked at an apple store 6 times. The 11 inch is still using 60hz though. I think apple won't admit 90hz in the specs, because it shows that Tim Cook is using unsold 'ipad 5' panels in the 11 inch model and a newer 90hz panel, in the 13 inch. This kind of logistic move, is typical of Tim Cooks ceo style - he's all about the parts supply chain.

can you confirm do you also face these things pleasa. i did order a ipad air recenlty
1. my display feels sticky (idk how to rightly describe it but its llike you can not move your finger on the display smoothly)
2. screen dips slightly when writing on ipad using pencil or hand
3. i feel some latency in onenote, and other apps, apple notes seems to be fine
4. camera shots are not great.

Hi Ivan. New subbie here. I use my iPad Air 10.5inch for work. I write on documents a lot and need compatibility with windows for easy file sharing. Between the iPad Air and the Samsung tab s9 ultra which do you recommend?

The only thing that is stopping me is the 60 hz refresh rate. Could you please tell me if that is working fine for you? If I write my notes on it and if the refresh rate is slow, that would be EXTREMELY frustrating.

I’ve seen m1 and m2 iPad pros go for around the same price. Might as well buy one of those
