Hello friends!
This video is related to calculation of standard deviation in case of frequency distribution Series by shortcut method. in case of frequency distribution series we have X variable and frequency. X variable is given in the form of class interval . shortcut method make the calculation of standard deviation more easy than a direct method. In this firstly we calculate mid value from class interval after that we calculate deviation from assume value. multiply and frequency with a deviation from assumes value we get summation fdx. then calculate dx square, and multiply it with f so that we can get summation fdx square . then we will put all the values in the formula and calculate standard deviation.
