I was so happy to find your video. I was nearly having a nervous breakdown trying to get my head around the Zoom. Your voice was really reassuring and it picked me up again through it. Thank you

Your videos are so very helpful. I was completely confused about how to use my H4N, but your videos make it was less intimidating. Thank you for posting.

You really do have a knack for this! Excellent video and well-organized, better than Lynda for my money. Good job and thank you so much!

In case it's helpful to anyone else, when the Zoom H4n is on STAMINA MODE your mode options and recording options DISAPPEAR! Hope this helps others!

The Zoom wants Mic Level inputs, not Line Level inputs. By this I mean if you plug an amplified guitar in one XLR input and a microphone into the other you would definitely not be OK. Line out from any field equipment is generally a disaster with the Zoom. It rocks for wireless mics and video though. I forgot how to change modes - thanks for this video!

Hello, I just recently purchased the Zoom h4n pro
So to clarify, if I wanted to say record two separate sources (two speaking heads on wireless systems for example) plugged into inputs 1 and 2, and I wanted to simultaneously record them with two SEPARATE .wav files for post editing later on, I need to use MTR mode and assign input 1 to whatever input on the recorder (say 1 to 1, 2 to 2), correct?

Thank you so much for this! So simple and easy to understand this somewhat complex topic. Thank you thank you thank you. :)

Thanks for a great video! When in the multitrack mode, are you always recording into 4 separate mono files, or will the internal mic still give a stereo file?
jonatanguitar
Hello! Do you know, can I record 2 different stereo channels from 2 ext mics (bottom 1 & 2 jacks) simultaneously? Thank you!

Do you still answer questions? I know this is an old video.
