They each look so different. How many breeds of Haggis? Amazing little beings.

That's a disgraceful insult. Scotland doesn't have just one day of summer per year. It has several days, split into minutes and occasionally hours
For example we had a nice day last week and it was really nice for about 30mins on Wednesday
In fact we can have all 4 seasons in just one day (or even in a few hours) at anytime of the year

I'm fed up with these migrating haggis, crossing roads and making us drive slowly.

Those are definitely lowland haggis.
True highland haggis have longer legs on one side than the other, to allow contour grazing on hillsides.
This of course is their downfall (pun most assuredly intended). when being hunted, as attempting to reverse course leads to them rolling down into the waiting nets below...

Their next great gathering will be at Haggishenge, a similar place to Stonehenge, for the autumn equinox celebration. Offerings and donations of their favourite food and drinks can be left in any nearby field or forest where they will be collected.

So interesting. I had never seen anything like this. In the U.S. Desert areas we have some species like this in the armadillos and the elusive jakalopes.

How do you keep one as a pet? Are they happier in pairs and do they need much exercise? More than a daily walk with my mutts? Asking for a friend.

Whenever I go free camping in the Highlands I always leave a few pieces of Kendall mint cake and a small bowl of Buckfast wine a ways from my tent. It’s always gone in the morning and the Haggis never bother me.

Oh, goodness. My mind doesn’t want to wrap around this. 🦔 = haggis-y enough, I think.

The "well-maintained burrows" inspired traditional hobbit architecture...

Out of curiousity, what is the collective term for haggis? Flock, herd? Main course?

I eat these several times a year (always the Wild type - never farmed). I feel quite guilty about it.
