Bridget and Amber are catching up when they notice some guys flirting with them. After Bridget leaves, one of the men approaches Amber. Amber is shocked when he asks for her autograph on an adult video starring her. Unable to change Ridge’s mind about making a commitment to Brooke, Massimo sets his plan in motion. Ridge tells his kids that tonight they are celebrating their two families growing closer. While the kids are upstairs playing, Ridge presents Brooke with the heirloom ring. Ridge explains that the ring symbolizes a commitment rather than an engagement. Brooke accepts the ring with a kiss. Ridge and Brooke are reveling in the moment when Deacon makes his presence known. Deacon’s announcement floors Ridge.

I can't watch Brooke being all lovey dovey with Ridge's kids when she is the one who said to Taylor: Sorry, your kids will have to live without their father 'cause I want him and I want him now. Yeah, paraphrasing, but that was her point.

6:00 one of the effect of Taylor's absence is that we got to see scenes with Ridge interacting with his kids more, it's nice. RM always was good with the scenes acting with the babies & kids.
