Joy of Bike is the BEST MTB channel on YouTube. The expertise, experience, chemistry, and vibe these two guys bring is just rock solid. Plus, I'm in my mid-50's and can totally relate to their life experiences as well. The channel is much more than just bikes - so if you're a younger person, I hope you understand the value and wisdom of what is being provided here for FREE! Keep up the great work gentlemen.

Don't want to get too hokey about this but your channel has been a huge help for me. I am 50 and have been riding for over 20 years but my riding has progressed more in the last 6 months than it had in the decade before that. This year I have hit drops I never thought I would try, cleared my first gap jump ever, made it up technical climbs I thought were impossible and having more fun than ever doing it. Mountain biking helped me get through covid with some sanity and this channel helped remind me that I ride for the feeling and the fun. Thanks!

You guys just seem like the most accessible coolest people to learn riding bikes from. Love this channel!

You guys have become my favorite mtb channel. I grew up racing bmx. Life happened and I didn’t ride at all for years. Now, I’m back to doing questionable things on two wheels, and it’s great! I’m building a dirt jumper and plan on building a jump track on my place- 35 acres in Colorado with a couple hundred feet of elevation change. Thanks for pushing guys like me to get back on a bike and progressing again.

I enjoy your videos every time. I'm a Biker and also a master in Kung Fu. We use our peripheral view in the case of confrontation on an opponent in self defense and on multible opponents. If you can do any technique under a free mind without thinking about the technique it's in your muscle memory. I love the translation from
Kung Fu = Hard Work
And Kung Fu is everywhere....

A man who’s hourly rate is probably close to some people’s/my yearly salary, can still show how appreciative he is when someone superchats $19 is so cool to see! You can feel that this is all about his Joy of Bike. I love the skill videos, but also get as much from the trail therapy part as well. I’m starting the visualization prayers tonight! 🔥👊🏼

I am addicted to you guys!! Been riding for 30 plus years. Went to a trial centre at the weekend concentrating on keeping central and hinging, rowing and anti row.
OMG It was an eye opener and for the first time I got it 😃😃.
I was in the Zen.
Thank you so much 👍56 and just started to learn.

I improved my skills this season thanks to your videos. At spring I found that I can ride more relaxed, and now at summer trails dried and I became even faster! :) / One theme, just a thought: I suspect the best way to get unlocked on the bike is to try to ride down stairs. It gets very uncomfortable if you don’t, you are forced to free a bike from your stiffness. It also helps with a head position. I also suspect that modern bikes ride almost all by themselves, the most frequent task on trail is not to hinder them to do their job..

On the wall ride thing I think you were right. People don’t really have walls to ride. Most trails around me don’t at least.

As someone who longboard skateboarded with bamboo decks, I appreciate the lateral movements comment. It’s like when dancing and carving with FLOW. The feeling of weightlessness and energy return is ADDICTIVE.

I missed this live, but I'm enjoying it now. I started practicing the Hinge on my rides, and I feel so much more in control. I still get moved around and have to readjust, but I'm flowing much better. You guys are such great human beings of the highest order. Thank you for all the help from a 52-year-old who is getting faster and fitter every day because of you guys. High fives to you.

Thank you for sharing your time and thoughts with this live show. Apart from that it also helped so much sharing my concussion story with you a couple of weeks ago and reading your reply! Love from Germany 😎
