_Lyrics_
By Stevie Nicks & Sandy Stewart

So long ago
Certain place
Certain time
You touched my hand
On the way
On the way down to Emmeline

But if our paths never cross
Well, you know I'm sorry, but

If I live to see the seven wonders
I'll make a path to the rainbow's end
I'll never live to match the beauty again
The rainbow's edge

So it's hard to find
Someone with that kind of intensity
You touched my hand, I played it cool
And you reached out your hand to me

But if our paths never cross
Well, no, I'm not sorry, but

If I live to see the seven wonders
I'll make a path to the rainbow's end
I'll never live to match the beauty again
The rainbow's edge

So long ago
It's a certain time
It's a certain place
You touched my hand and you smiled
All the way back you held out your hand
If I hope and if I pray
Ooh it might work out someday

If I live to see the seven wonders
I'll make a path to the rainbow's end
I'll never live to match the beauty again

If I live to see the seven wonders
I'll make a path to the rainbow's end (I'll make a path there)
I'll never live to match the beauty again
(You'll never live to see the beauty, the beauty, that same same beauty)

If I live to see the seven wonders
I'll make a path to the rainbow's end
I'll never live to match the beauty again
(Oh well if I hope and I pray, well, maybe it might work out some day)

A new incarnation of Fleetwood Mac debuted in the summer of 1975, including Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie, along with new members Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. In celebration of 50 years of this legendary era of Fleetwood Mac, these classic albums will be reissued on crystal-clear vinyl as a 6LP boxed set, a 5CD set, and digitally on March 28. FLEETWOOD MAC - 1975 TO 1987 includes 'Fleetwood Mac' (1975), 'Rumours' (1977), 'Tusk' (1979), 'Mirage' (1982), and 'Tango In The Night '(1987).

Back in 1989, when I was 24 years old, I decided to lay down on the grass under a tree and played this song on my Walkman. I was touring the world by myself with a backpack and I had the Taj Mahal right before my eyes. Unforgettable moment.

I love how Stevie's gigantic 80's hair fills the entire frame in the close ups.

This was my mom's favorite song. She passed away in April 2021, she was only 44 years old. This song will always be important to me 😊

Here’s the deal. You either love Fleetwood Mac, or you’re wrong. It’s not that hard to comprehend.

At 39 Stevie never looked better. She was at the top of her game and was simply radiant in her prime.
