My dad just picked up the 4a 5g on Friday and he’s been loving it. The battery life for him has been great, mind you he’s not a heavy user at all but he’s ending his day on like 72-73%.
I agree with the gaming notifications. I also always turn them off. Just have social notifications on.

My OP8 PRO is currently on 13% with 6hr 11mins screen on time. Since my last charge 14 hours ago. I've used it for sat nav (for 2 hours) and streaming music via Bluetooth. This phone is a beast. 120hz turned on as well

I suppose you may have had people disagreeing with you about battery in the past, but I'm surprised you need to say anything about battery life versus usage: of course it's relative to the user. But I'll also say, while phone A may last longer than phone B for some, and B longer for others. IMHO that's only if phones are close already or if the uses are extremely different. There's got to be a general trend of some phones being better than others, and your comparison with your usage is still relevant for many of us (which I assume you agree with since you made the video). Yes, there are a ton of variables (a individual person gets different battery life each day), but all of it is a good compare (it still shows a general trend, etc).

Maybe we're both on the same page. I just felt like you got hug up on the "everyone uses their phone differently"

As long as I can get through the day without having to juice up im good. I top up right before work every morning for the whole day. I like widgets, productivity apps, notifications for my most used apps, Spotify and Pandora. Im not into Facebook or Instagram or Tick Tok. I do have WhatsApp and Twitter. Cant be a total nomad. I got a 1080P screen which helps too. No matter what device I'm using I use it the same way. No different. Nothing worst than a dead phones.

Galaxy Note phones are my favorite but the Pixel phones are looking appealing.

The best phone I have used that gives me an incredible battery life. I sold my Note 20 Ultra for this Pixel 4a 5G. I don't regret it. For me this phone is phenomenal. The Google experience on the Pixel is just incredible. I'm a guy that I do not like the Sammy's UI, I Nova launch them with Google Now to the swipe left. I love stock Android, that's why I love the Pixel so much. The Pixel 4a 5G is the Phone of the year!!!
