On September twelfth I went up to the Maritime aquarium in South Norwalk CT for a few hours. Once I finished up there I went to the SONO switch tower museum where I caught the south bound Danbury shuttle coming off the branch. The shuttle was powered by P32ACDM 226 which was cool to see compared to the usual BL20GHMs that run the Danbury branch. Once I finished the tour of the museum I went over to the Washington street bridge over the Norwalk river. The Washington street bridge is next to Metro north's New Haven line making it a great location to watch trains cross over the Norwalk river. When I arrived both bridges were already open for Buchanan Marines tug "Mister T" along with an empty rock barge. Once the Mister T cleared, the WALK bridge closed for train traffic. I stuck around for a few hours to catch the action. I caught many M8s, Northeast regionals, and Acela's crossing the bridge making for an interesting few hours. I hope you enjoy the video! =)
