Came out in the way out of a club screaming "I'M NOT A GIRL" and then my friend asked if I was trans, I said yes and then they said "Oh, me too" since then our enby friendship only grew <3

When I came out as trans to my younger brother he said 'as long as you don't suddenly start to talk about cars and sports we can be brothers, otherwise you'll be disinherited!' (the disinherited bit is a standing joke between us)

I came out on Facebook at 16 by posting a status that said “first one to comment is bisexual” and then immediately commenting “surprise”

Told my dad I was transgender and he went "That's okay! I love you!" Then he paused for a min and went "What's Transgender?"

He was a bit confused but he had the spirit lol

I came out to my mom as asexual, it ended up with her realising she’s on asexual spectrum as well

When my best friend came out as bi, her mom blamed me for turning her. I was honestly just flattered that she thought I possessed such a power.

I've been stealth for a couple of years now, and when I was working at my old job, my coworker asked me: "Do you think you'd look hot if you were a chick?" to which I said that, well, I've seen it already, and it wasn't great.

"Oh, you did drag?"
"No, I'm trans."
....
"WHAT?"

It took him by surprise, but we had a good laugh and he's always been very supportive and kind. Never treated me any differently even after finding out that I'm trans. Love him to bits.

After I came out as ftm (no T) my grandma said I “smell like a boy.” I was like “is my BO really bad?” And she was like “no you don’t smell like body odor. you just smell like a boy. boys and girls smell different.” And I would say granny’s off the shits but there are many instances where she has correctly smelled things that other people can’t so now I’m haunted by this is there science behind this???? Can my grandmas super nose sniff out trans people???? I’m scared

As a pre everything trans guy, I feel so much euphoria from seeing other trans men who not only pass but look incredibly attractive. Like props to you man, maybe one day I’ll be there

I came out socially as trans right before starting gr12. The first day of school I was on the bus and this kid I knew sat beside me and was like "hey [deadname]" and I said "uhh actually I changed my name to Noah" and he was like "oh, why?" and I didn't know how to respond to his question so I was just like "cuz I have gender dysphoria" and he was like "oh, nice"

I live in Denmark and my first girlfriend, D, was an immigrant and she didn't speak any Danish, so we spoke English together. She didn't have any family in Denmark, so I invited her to spend Christmas with my family. But of course that meant I had to come out to my (at the time) 80 year old grandmother.
So, I told her on the phone "D is actually not just my friend. She is my girlfriend. And she is going to celebrate Christmas with us this year." And my grandmother blurted out "Oh no!"
And my heart skipped a beat before she continued "... my English is so horrible! How am I going to talk to her".

My 80 year old grandmother was more concerned about the fact that she couldn't get to know my girlfriend because of a language barrier than she was about finding out her granddaughter is queer 🥺🥺

Me and my sister where clothes shopping.

Sis: no guy wants to date a girl that dresses like a grandma
Me: well...men aren't my only option.
Sis: ok...NO ONE wants to date someone that dresses like a grandma.

So ya it went well
