I am aware of rudeus' capabilities but I think that cid has more chances to win because he can heal himself with magic almost instantly, But he doesn't need it much because of the control he has on his body, he literally revived as well when his heart stopped.

Considering they both can make explosions equal to a nuke, I think strength speed and agility easily go to Cid since he's a close range fighter, but magical power and iq goes to rudeus. overall, I think Cid wins high to extreme dif, im saying this because i dont think rudeus can control what goes on in one of his nukes so it would be suicide for him to use magic that strong, but cid can. I did not read the LN for either, so I'm basing this off of the anime and what iv heard

I read Mushoku Tensei up to the end and Eminence in Shadow up to the latest and I can say that Cid can clap Rudeus.

Cid wins easily. Even with MK armor, Cid wins. Why? Well because Atomic has faster casting and it clears a way larger area as long as more potent.
